This surah is a reminder of the pain that will come to those less fortunate and shows a little how believers can be overjoiced with great things.



be toiling and worn-out;³

3 / Is a sign of being overwhelmed.



They shall have no food except bitter dry thorns³

6 / [Nothing left to enjoy or appreciate]



that will neither nourish nor satisfy their hunger.³

7 / Food should either satisfy hunger or have some nourishment / It doesn't need to have both!



Regarding those with radiant faces on the Day,

well-pleased with their striving.³

9 / Striving is actually in the end enjoyable.



[Therein] they shall hear no vain talk³

11 / [This is a good ideal for your company, media devices and daily activities.]



and couches raised high,

and goblets laid out,

and cushions arrayed in rows,

and rich [subtly shocking] carpets levelled out.³

13 / Couches.. the higher the better. [It might do you nicely to acquire a goblet of some sort and have many more cushions and rich carpets.]



Do (these unbelievers) not observe the camels: how they were created? / DO, THEN, they [who deny resurrection] never gaze at the clouds pregnant with water, [and observe] how they are created?²

And the sky: how it was raised high?

And the earth: how it was spread out?

And the mountains: how they were fixed?³

So, ˹continue to˺ remind ˹all, O Prophet˺, for your duty is only to remind.

You are not ˹there˺ to compel them ˹to believe˺.¹
