Bhagat Puran Singh ji (ਭਗਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ) was a great saint, philanthropist, writer, environmentalist, and sociologist. He physically helped thousands of poor, injured, sick, elderly, and widowed people setting up many hostels and clinics for them. He encouraged organic farming, energy efficiency, nature preservation, healthy eating, upliftment of society and many topics and his advice permutated with the people around him and across the world.

He was a nominee for the peace prize.

Biography

In his youth he would spend lots of time at the Amritsar libraries.
