Gurbilas Patshahi 6
The book is divided into 21 parts, reading it daily makes you pure (pg 88, advai 3 last section)
in 1718 Bhai Mani Singh Nanaksar Pind Bhaga, district Jhang (near Lahore, Pakistan) narrated Guru Harogind's complete life after Bhai Dharam Singh (kavi of Guru Gobind Singh) requested to hear the lie story of the Guru. Bhai Mani Singh heard the katha from Daya Singh who heard it from Guru Gobind Singh. Bhagat Singh (son of Bhai Dharam Singh) wrote the account as it was being narrated. Then later Bhai Sohan Singh an associate of Bhai Dharam Singh rewrote it in 'chands' (poetic metres).[1] It is the first complete written account of the sixth Guru.
