ਅਲ-ਮਾਸਿਦ

This surah may denote that if your on the wrong path materialist things will cause you harm (and not at all be able to save you).

Even though members of the tribe did not believe in the Prophet (ﷺ) they still supported him out of brothership of the clan. (Abu Lahab left his clan which was unheard of doing at the time)

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he ˹himself˺ perish!

1 / First his hands / deeds be destroyed

Neither his wealth nor ˹worldly˺ gains will benefit him. / His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions.

2 / Then his body and wealth / Like wealth acquisitions are comparatively useless.

[You shouldn't associate with things associated with those outcasted?]

[Implement worship of God into your life]

[You should be honest in words, dealings manner so when you preach abut Alha people will listen and say you are a liar]
