A Hukamanama refers to reading a random shabad from SGGS ji. When SGGS ji is opened the shabad appearing at he top left page first line is read if no shabad appears there which is often the case the shabad starting a the end of the previous page is read.

Hukam

Hukam means order divine order; will of god, royal erdict

Poetic recitation (hukam meaning clear proof)

Can those ˹believers˺ who stand on clear proof from their Lord be like those whose evil deeds are made appealing to them and ˹only˺ follow their desires?

Nam

"nam" means creative force.
