Other restrictions
Generally Sikhs are forbidden to eat meat, drink alcohol, drink coffee and tea, go to restaurants, go to clubs, take dowry, lie, obtain wealth through dishonest means.
Some respected preachers, such as Surjit Singh,[1] also restrict Sikhs from going to Banquet Halls. Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji restricted Sikhs to not listen to any sexaully suggestive music so to dance to such music would also be wrong.
