This surah is about how a group of people should all act around the Prophet (ﷺ) and his clans of the believers and perhaps how to act when entering a city.

Regarding Oath taken against Mecca, parents/earlier decedents, son/later descendants,

[I should not swear by other things rather than God only God should be in your mind and of importance.]

Indeed, We have created humankind in ˹constant˺ struggle.

4 / Be used to constant struggle

Does he think that no one can overpower him?

5 / Even if you're the best God can overpower you.

And did We not show him the two highroads (of good and evil)?

10 / [When given an evil route you maybe also given a good route as well]

But he did not venture to scale the difficult steep.

11 / [Venture the difficult. Do the difficult]

And what will make you realize what ˹attempting˺ the challenging path is? / And what do you know what that difficult steep is?

It is freeing someone's neck from slavery;

or giving food on a day of hunger

to an orphan near of kin;

or to a destitute lying in dust;

12 / Take homeless/destitute/left-alone people [in your sanctuary] / feed them. [After doing good deeds you will be revealed the challenging path, when entering city do any of the good deeds]

and—above all—to be one of those who have faith and urge each other to perseverance and urge each other to compassion.

17 [This should be a daily / frequent reflection, eg how can I be good]
