Though this site is a tribute to Gyan (Bless that attribute that guided me) Doing and saying Waheguru covers everything and it teaches everything. It's all you need (and all you need to understand) Happiness is one of the worse states of minds spirituality and maryada (dharma) can pickup your soul to the house of God. ¿Does it have to be "Waheguru" absolutely not *2 it could any word, quality, saint or even letter that helps you get to that.
Once it's working you will be inspired to do seva (Seva is great). There are activities in life that make you happy/laugh, make you content, and make you sad. What are the activities that make you content? (Gurbani⁕ and Simran⁕ both make you happy) So what makes you content? The answer is seva.
