Maryada means practices and code of conduct, it literally mean remembrance of death. In ardas there is a props to the Sikhs who 'dekh kai undit ketai' meaning seeing the faults at their circumstances they amended with their best way possible, so you need to get creative and push towards ideals when given the chance.
