The Mystic Art and Gnostic Spirituality of Everyday Food

Food is good but we aint eating how we should. There is a saying that a good food means good mind and good body means good thoughts. Good thoughts make there less cancer and eating cumulatively good will make our town pleasant beyond imagination.

Good food smells good and leaves a good taste in your mouth. Brothers and sisters children and parents we are not living to the best of our ablilities we are mistreating fruits and making wine out of them, taking drugs, drinking coffee, thus producing a very low spiritual level and then evolving our entire week freetime or vacation or luxuary time and even culture around drinking. First drinking is a very low pleasure compared to kirtan (what gem can I use to describe this) and if you feel the bliss of kirtan once you will never enjoy drinking again as it is much better feeling.

Good food tastes very good and makes you feel very good. Bad food still has taste but is missing the something that makes you truly enojoy what you are eating and bad food gives you the effects such as sore throat, running nose, bad breath, sleepiness, defeated immunity, and laziness, farting, and affects your consciousness in varying levels.. It can also decrease your mood and well being and the bad effects mentioned could last and hour to days or just leave your throat feeling wierd if you are lucky.

What is the receivpe for good food? It is having a pious life. Good food is genereated from someone with a clean and respectable being and respectable mind state and who pays for that food using completly honest means, this means working at a honest workplace. If one is Amritdhari (Khalsa) doing their morning Nitnem (Daily realization of the path towards the supreme soul) at Amritvela (time of Amrit 12am-6am) also ads zest goodness to the food. Being Amritdhari and eating from only other Amritdharis is a simple benchmark that usually allows you to ensure the food is coming from a good source. Amrit means immortal nector (also means something that is very good in taste and nutritious) and once the Amrit is drank you will get your soul towards merging with God Amritdhari is one whose blood is holding amrit only with the blessings of the Guru can everyday food be turn into amrit and only with the blessings of the Guru can you turn your blood into Amrit making you one of the Khalsa. Eating from some food that has been touch with one with pimples will likely make the food get bad energy. One of the worse things someone can say is inslut someones life and way of living and and saying yo way of living is 'wrong' if you do have pimples rember it only takes one day to go to the right path (one of Good food one of you being your Best) at most try it out and follow your heart(gut feeling). Much love to all people and beings.

Everyone is a victim to their desires for sugar or a certain food so that is okay. But beware that eating anything sweet or sour will eventually make you regret afterwords. We sometimes eat a very good meal (in terms of taste) and then weeks and months later we continue to think and crave after that food so eating 'plain' is advised.

Everyone is subject to sugar so that cannot be avoided but we can use brown suger and gur (jagerry/sugar cane) No to pasta, rice, potatoes, bananas chips, chocolate, soda, pizza, ice cream, candy, bread as they are unhealthy rather maybe lentil, cracked-wheat (dalia) or generally what you know for sure is good is encouraged.

Before eating you should offer to others and excersise. If eating without excerising coinsider eating poison. You can shake your stomach clasping your hands together and then moving them backand forth(from left to right) to help predigest and get rid of bad gasses. You can also pound you stomach and butt with your fists like punching for about 30 to 45 seconds which also does great benifits for the body.

If you think you ate something you shouldn't have eating dates can help get rid of that from the blood and dicing garlic peices and placing it in water for a few hours than drinking only the water can clean your digestive system. If your troat is weird you can gargle with salt and if your thoruat is hurting mix turmeric (haldi) and honey together into a paste and lick it down. Bathing can get rid of bad energy. Camphor (kapor) can purify air and opening a window is always recommended when indoors.

Eating based on desire, choosing food based on desire is also not good and will add bad energy to your food. For example you go to the store to by 2 items of x and when you get there you are overwhelmed with the desire to eat that food x and buy 4 or 5 surely your food will be spoiled. Also eating a tasty meal and unless it is physically not enough going in for an extra unncessary refill can also add bad energy. Ideally you should be eating three fourths of the amount you think is appropriate.

If food has a very sharp unpleasent taste it may be an indication of you becoming sick from eating it. If you cannot seem to get comfortoable eating a food you should not eat it. If you are unsure about the healthiness of a food you should not eat it. Exhaling air releases bad eneregy and you should not exhale while your face is very near food or when the drinking vesell is near your mouth. You should eat when you are hungry and drink when you are thirsty never the other way around.

Nam Daan Ishan – is a concept of relization towards the infintelike One supreme soul, daan is donation to a good cause, and ishnan is batheing. Some people practice doing all three before taking their first bite. You should always remember the supreme soul before eating the meal and thank the supreme soul for the food. Also you should offer the food to anyone in the vicinity. Saying blessings does get transferred to food and water.

Finally to conclude the supreme teacher/internal God (Gur) is very strong (Bur) and is beyond time and death (Akal)
